GVS9000 1U Dual Independent Processor Board with Dual Intel Xeon "Nehalem" and "Westmere" Processor
The new GVS9000 1U offers two advanced processor options from Intel. The Quad-Core Intel Xeon "Nehalem" processor which
is available in a single-processor, quad-core configuration at speeds up to 3.2GHz. For even greater speed and power, choose the "Westmere" series, Intel's next-generation processor based on its' latest 32-nm process technology. "Westmere" is available in both quad-core and 6-core versions, and the GVS9000 1U comes with either one or two processors. Which means that you can have a 6-core GVS9000 2U at 3.33GHz, an 8-core system at 2.4GHz, or, to max out your performance, a 12-core system at up to 2.93GHz in a 2U rack space, with 8xhot-swap removable media drives, and transportable to secure your data.
Designed to fit seamlessly into a most demanding production environment, the GVS9000 1U offers a rugged, scalable design, that allows users to incrementally move to a high process, applicaiton demanding environment utilizing the most compact foot print. With this GVS9000 1U based technology, the GVS9000 1U provides a single flexible platform for all your application needs.
