The GVS9000 4NXU Server models take efficient
data access one step further, exceeding data access over
5.4Gbit/sec ideal for most Server applications such as Aerospace, Animation , Audio/Video, Medical Imaging, Mobile equipment. It's ideal for mobile vehicle, containing all in one rugged and portable design, in 19" rack mount or a tower with lowest noise level in its class of family that doesn't require a major computer room for cooling.
The only product of its kind available in the market today, GVS9000 4NXU Server comes with Quad
PowerPC processors running at speeds of up to
76.6GBps, 1,000KB of dedicated L2 cache memory per processor,
four full-length 16X PCI-e slots, and 16GB of DDR ECC SDRAM upgradeable to 32GB all in less than 8.0" 4U rack space with 16 hot-swap drive bays and dual boot internal drive bays, plus 16x500GB SATAII drives at 72000RPM or 300GB SAS drive up to 10,000RPM with less than 3.6ms seek time. Configured with a dual hardware 2890C raid controller application allowing data at wire speeds of 400MB/sec and the security of RAID level 5 the GVS9000 4NXU insures data integrity and speed are delivered to your high definition product (HD RGB 4.4.4) and gives 2K film resolution. As an internal SAN
RAID it holds approx. 4,000GB mirrored data for security of your application and redundancy shared disk space. Options include 4GB Fiber Channel internal controller, dual Gigabit Ethernet and 2, 4, up to 8xDVI and VGA display interfaces, with
Linux or OS X operating systems.
The
4NXU Server models include RAM support of 16GB
up to 4TB, internal storage up to 9TB with optional 15,000
RPM hot-swap drives running at speeds of 720MB/sec making
it ideal for High Performance Computing (HPC) in scientific
and technical environments, as well as for VTR, 3D Design,
Film Colorist, Animation and Visualization applications.
The unique feature of the GVS9000 4NXU is the internal 4Gbit
Fiber Storage that allows you to instantaneously share your content
and have your project available to everyone on the SAN Fiber
network, at speeds that are usually only available on very
high end fiber RAID products, but are a standard part of
the GVS 4NXU product. The benefit of having the internal
4Gbit Fiber is that you can configure your GVS9000 as an
meta data controller and run GVSAN in conjunction with multiple volume support native to your shared storage.
