Nomadic
SAN Router with Fibre Channel and Gigabit connectivity
for high-bandwidth storage,
ideal for high speed |
GVS
Nomadic SAN Router is the next generation of multi-protocol storage
solutions. It delivers multi-vendor, multi-protocol connectivity
within the data center and beyond. The Nomadic supports industry
standard protocols such as iSCSI, iFCP and E_Port and can be used
for SAN island integration, business continuance/disaster recovery
planning, storage consolidation, remote tape vaulting, content distribution
and iSCSI access to Fibre Channel storage.
- FC, Ethernet, iSCSI and iFCP connectivity
- Broadest range of E-Port interoperability with multi-vendor fabrics
- True FC routing for maximum scalability and fault isolation
- Compression to lower WAN bandwidth costs
- Fast Write technology maximizes throughput across long distances
- Offers both Fast Ethernet or Gigabit Ethernet connectivity

Descriptions
- Nomadic: Multi-Protocol SAN router with GE and FC switching
support for 12 FC and four GE SAN routing ports. FC ports
configurable to 4-400 Gb/s rates. Out of band
10-40Gbit Ethernet and serial management ports. Four intelligent
ports provide TCP/IP support for connecting to IP campus
or WAN backbones.
